A world-class event in Maputo


The Government of Mozambique partnered with the Global Wildlife Program and the World Bank team in Mozambique to put together the 2018 International Conference on Nature-Based Tourism in Conservation Areas in Maputo, Mozambique on 7-9 June, 2018. One of the pre-requisites of the event turned out to be the need for a dark, climate controlled event space that could accommodate 500 people as well as high resolution LED Screen.

The Liberation Concert


Gearhouse Group was able to supplement the technical elements for The Liberation Concert which took place at the Nelson Mandela Theatre, Joburg Theatre Complex on the 25th May. The concert celebrated Nelson Mandela’s legacy and fell aptly as the finale to Africa Month with the dual purpose of launching The Liberation Project’s new album Songs That Made Us Free. The Liberation Project served as the house band and featured special guest appearances from a host of South African and International icons who have lent their voices and played a vital role in South Africa’s struggle for freedom.
