35 1st year learners at the Gearhouse Kentse Mpahlwa Academy have spent the first six months of 2017 involved in workshop rotations and doing on-site practical training as part of the National Certificate: Live Event Technical Production Services in South Africa – a qualification developed by the Gearhouse field experts and delivered at the Group’s offices around the country. A stringent interview process reduces hundreds of keen applicants to a select 15 in Johannesburg and 10 each in Cape Town and Durban each year.
