Our cultural footprint is in embedded in our heritage
September marked heritage month in South Africa and there was no better way to celebrate it than to admire the adversity of culture that forms part of our rainbow nation. Culture is defined as the symbols, language, beliefs, values and artefacts that are part of society. These are the elements that make effective social interaction possible and influences how people conceive of concepts and objects.
Mahatma Gandhi says, “A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people”. As Gearhouse, we recognize and acknowledge our staff as our most important assets. People are the driving force of the business.
We have a national footprint through our regional branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. In all these branches, we understand the background of our people, appreciate their uniqueness and celebrate the different race, gender, socio – economic status, as well as the physical abilities of our people.
Our values include vision, passion, teamwork and a commitment to service excellence, which is fundamental to our culture and has gained us an excellent reputation. With our footprint growing to international playing fields we are proud to be the sole South African representative of the AV alliance; an international network of like-minded professionals. Just shows you our diversity is broadening, we are excited to see the opportunities and doors open in places like the Congo and Rwanda.
In a people – driven industry, we endeavour to empower our employees by raising skills level through ongoing training and development with our Kentse Mphahlwa Academy. We also encourage individual creative contributions and innovation from personnel.
Create and capitivate an audience through personal relationship building. It’s the differences that make us unique, we all at the end of the day come together for the same end goal. Building lasting relationships with our clients and amongst one another enhance the beauty that is Gearhouse – a group of companies and a group of diverse cultures working together to make the dream work.
