During youth month, Gearhouse is introducing a fun new mascot in the shape of a rather unique looking Zebra called Bonke. Bonke is representative of the “young blood” in the organisation. His persona is fun and funky reflecting the dynamic personalities of the 55 students currently working within the company. 

To us; the zebra simultaneously symbolizes individuality and unity. Each zebra’s hide is as unique as a fingerprint yet they are social creatures, each bringing something unique to the herd. This month we are celebrating our youngest members and encourage them to bring their own special brand of youthful innovation to contribute to the betterment of our team overall.

Bonke will be used in a series of campaigns to highlight career possibilities within the Live Event industry and to facilitate the voice of our Gearhouse Kentse Mpahlwa learners.
