Gearhouse Power is responsible for the supply of Generators and Electrical Distribution for productions and events.

When local power is insufficient for the requirements of the event, unstable, or the proximity of power is a concern, Gearhouse Power utilises gensets (Silenced Mobile Generators) that can vary from 30Kva to 500Kva. Most of these can be synchronised to run in parallel providing a clean stable and reliable electrical supply.

Gearhouse Power was responsible for supplying all backup power to the 1995 World Cup Rugby Series, as well as the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations (CAF) Soccer Series.

All generators are fully mobile on their own trailers. Where it is necessary to synchronise generators we have sync boxes with multiple inputs and outputs so we are able to configure supplies from over 1000amps to as small as 32amp 3 phase or 15 amp single phase.

With an internationally trained staff complement, Gearhouse Power is capable of managing the electrical reticulation from the simplest to the most complex of events.
